Summer Pointe & Pre-Pointe 2013 for level 5s ... J

5 week pre-pointe session

July 9th - August 8

Tues. and Thurs. 8:00 - 8:45

The cost for the entire 5 week session is $100.00 if paid by July 1st, $140.00 thereafter.  Take $25.00 off if enrolled in our August intensive (remember that summer classes are required for Levels 5&6). At some “pointe” towards the end of July we will arrange an August mother/daughter pointe shoe fitting and lunch that is bound to be fun!  Please know that just because the girls go "on pointe" it does not mean they will dancing on pointe in the performance next year, sometimes they stay at the barre all year to build strength.

5 week pointe session

July 9th - August 8

Tues. and Thurs. 9:00 - 9:45

Pointe class for levels 5 and 6 who are already on pointe.  We have allowed a 15 min break after the first class, to allow you to come in a little early and be fully prepared and have the barres out before your class is to begin. That will make certain we make the most of our class time. This will not be a full barre and center ballet class with jumps and turns, but a barre/center (barre for 5s, mostly center for 6s) class focusing on increasing strength for pointe work, with a focus on pirouettes for level 6.

The cost for the entire 5 week session is $100.00 if paid by July 1st, $140.00 thereafter.  Take $25.00 off if enrolled in our August intensive (remember that summer classes are required).

 -----------------------------------------

Upper level camps 2013 for levels 5 and 6, taught by Peggy Goodner

August 5 - 8, 10:00 - 12:30

Open to both levels 5 and 6

100.00 if registered by July 1st, 140.00 thereafter

August 12 - 15, 10:00 - 1:30

This second week is open only to level 6s that have completed previous week's camp, as we will build upon the skills and variations learned in the first week.  If you are only able to attend one week, your only option with INB is the first week.  You may study elsewhere and still meet the minimum number of hours of ballet training that you must have over the summer, 14 for 5s and 20 for 6s.

Only 80.00 if registered by July 1st, 120.00 thereafter

(Tuition discount due to this being your 2nd camp week.  :)

Each day will offer a technique class, a possible pointe or pre-pointe class (teacher's discretion to use this time as she sees fit), a short snack break, and a character class.
